I actually branded it with our company logo in a visible, but subtle way, so it didn’t look too crazily branded. And it was so cool to see the members roll into our CAB with the branded away bags, it was definitely a bit of a flex for them, and spurred lots of conversations, which was exactly the point. I did snag myself one of the bags as well, so I can get some pictures for you later today.

we also did custom AWAY Luggage, and it basically thrilled the CAB members. So much so, that internally, everyone was clamoring to see how THEY could get their own AWAY Luggage 😉

Hey @Mary Green (Owner CMAweekly), absolutely! Totally for it. Let me know which Fridays are best and we can go from there. Thanks and talk soon.

I've had great experience with getting to a "Yes" with Public Sector customers over the past 3-4 years. Happy to chat about what has worked for those that might find that helpful.

Hey all. I’m working with my MarOps team on building out a brand new Customer Marketing dashboard. I currently have a dashboard that is based within SFDC, but I want to leverage a new tool we’ve purchased to more completely visualize and showcase the program’s success. Does anyone have a killer dashboard that they’d be willing to talk through 1:1, just to make sure that I’m not missing anything? If so, that would be greatly appreciated! Thank you! 🙏

#cabs - May 22, 2025 at 09:05 PM

That’s correct now :)

Looking forward to it!

Hey all. A quick question for this group: for those who have already completed a Customer Awards Program, how did you showcase the value of such a. program to your GTM Leadership team? I feel that some results of an Awards Program can be direct and easily attributable, but some other impacts are felt either on a much longer timeframe or are simply hard to measure. How have folks here shown ROI from their Awards Programs, beyond the content creation and activation lens? Thanks for letting me know!

#general - April 15, 2025 at 09:04 PM

hey @Emily Coleman, I ran this at our Global Marketing Team offsite in February and it wen really well. Happy to talk about it, if you’re up for it. thanks!

#general - February 04, 2025 at 05:52 PM

hey @Liza McGraw!! how are you???

Another option is that in addition to the above, I feel like you can use the video for internal Sales Enablement, to educate your teams. WDYT? Thanks and talk soon.

hey all. Happy New Year! A quick question for this group. I am compiling content for our upcoming Global Marketing Team Off-site meeting in New York. An agenda item I am working on is around the concept of “customer fluency” which I am hoping to structure as follows:

  1. Have a stand-and-deliver exercise, where each marketer is given homework in advance of the session to prepare to talk through a case study or customer success story in their own words in their own way, in front of the larger group. The goal is to get each marketer more familiar with our customers, what they do, and how we help them. Really embedding that into everyone’s workflow.
  2. Then, once stories are well embedded, work with the group to brainstorm on how we can do an EVEN BETTER job at leveraging our existing stories in ways beyond how we do it today. Really being creative, pushing the needle, challenging ourselves to think outside the box. So, my question for this group is has someone run an exercise like this before, and if so, would they be open to chatting about how it went? Thanks in advance and talk soon. 🙏

Sounds great, @Irwin Hipsman. I’ll ping you! Thx! 🙏

#general - August 06, 2024 at 06:34 PM

That’s super helpful, @Mary Green (Owner CMAweekly)!

#general - August 06, 2024 at 06:24 PM

More about feedback, staying engaged, vs a pure Demand Generation activity

#general - August 06, 2024 at 06:23 PM

Thanks, @Shannon Howard! We’re not planning to use a tool, since it’s less about scraping and finding out who has moved on, for us. This is more about providing a programmatic way of staying in touch with advocates who happen not be customers any more

#general - August 06, 2024 at 06:13 PM

hey all. A quick question for you:

I was wondering if anyone has built and launched an “alumni” program, to stay in touch with individuals at a customer who left for a new role to a place that is not a current customer, or to an advocate at an account that has churned.

If so, would you be willing to share what that looked like and how you have made that program a success? Thanks and talk soon.

#general - June 12, 2024 at 08:27 PM

Thanks all!!

#general - June 12, 2024 at 06:28 PM

Hey all! How’s everyone doing today? Would anyone be open to sharing a scorecard that they used for their judging panel for their Customer Award Program? If so, that would be greatly appropriated. Thanks in advance and talk soon! 🙏 🙏

Hey all! Is anyone going to Forrstser’s B2B Summit in a few weeks in Austin? If so, would be great to connect with this crew out there!

#general - April 17, 2024 at 09:39 PM

I’m in!!

#announcements - January 12, 2024 at 05:49 PM

I ask because $559 seems high for a room block rate.

#announcements - January 12, 2024 at 05:48 PM

Out of curiosity, which city is your conference hotel located at in?

#announcements - January 08, 2024 at 04:19 PM

Sure, happy to. I wouldn’t be “presenting” per se, but can share a bit of our early work on this effort, if that is helpful

#announcements - January 08, 2024 at 04:16 PM

One of the things that I am starting to focus on is “last touch”.

So, if we can show that we had a CAB, and then right after that, the customer makes a large upsell or cross-sell, we can track that and attribute it back to the Program.

But yeah, would be happy to chat with others on this topic to learn and share more

#announcements - January 02, 2024 at 07:46 PM

Hey all. I’m looking to upgrade my Customer Marketing dashboard, with less of an emphasis on Influenced Revenue, but looking to layer in some additional items and options. What are you folks out there doing? Thanks for letting me know and happy new year!! 🎆
