@Kevin Lau How did the call go? 🙂

Calling the Sendoso experts here for quick help (Helloo @Leslie Barrett!) - We sent some branded swag to a customer and they asked _*"As part of our internal anti-corruption policy, could you tell me the amount excluding VAT per person of these gifts?"*_ Should the gift amount include the items' shipping cost as well? Does anyone know? Also, when your customers ask for these, do you send them invoice/other proofs or just share the amount details over an email?

I'm trying to build a slide for a customer story and would love to get some ideas! Unlike the usual 'case study snippet' slides where customers would've had some form of ROI, these customers are much earlier in their journey w/ us - these are still in implementation or just after implementation. So the meat of the content is around pain points, evaluation criteria & why they chose us, and where they see our product playing a role in the future. When I add 4-5 bullet points on these ^, the slide doesn't come off as strong/impactful. Thoughts/ideas? The intended audience for this is prospects & those who're still having second thoughts during the Solutioning/Tech-win.

@Kevin Lau Maybe you already checked this out but just in case: [https://influitive.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/06/Influitive-Forrester_Prioritize-Postsale-Customer-Marketing_Report.pdf](https://influitive.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/06/Influitive-Forrester_Prioritize-Postsale-Customer-Marketing_Report.pdf) Pg 4 states investment in Customer Marketing is picking up YoY. It's a 2021 study though.

@Joel Primack @Laurie Timms - We're still private, so I'm pretty new to this - would love to see examples of the earnings report you called out and the role and placement of customer stories.

Great conversations! @Daniel Palay @Alexie Glover @Sarah Koval Please share the samples with me too - would be super helpful. @Ciana Abdollahian Currently, I have added some text as Speaker Notes in G Slides but I'm planning to move these slides to a Highspot-like tool we use and removing all speaker notes so even if AEs share the decks, there's no sensitive information shared. How are you planning to include the script? Do your AEs strictly don't share these decks across (or) your script will be neutral that even if the prospects view it, it won't reveal that the AE just did a scripted demo?

#template-copy-share - May 09, 2023 at 10:28 AM

Hey @Warsan Ahmed - here's the template I built - I fill this out for each new case study in G Sheet, and have hooked it up with Looker Studio so Sales and other teams can filter those without messing up the original sheet. I've also added notes against certain cells to add context on why I added them. Hope you find some of these useful. <https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/12juWzlNBMD9lf56w8bfTrQ06pZuGJEZDMCwKUmEMXR4/edit?usp=share_link>

Hi @Alexie Glover ! Great points as always! In the companies you work with, which team mostly owns capturing the win slide and high points? Is it customer marketing? I'm willing to try that, but currently I'm blindsided on our new wins - there's no active feedback loop b/w Sales and us on this. How do you all navigate this?

#announcements - May 04, 2023 at 08:42 AM

When you publish case studies on websites or as PDFs, do you hyperlink main keywords to your internal feature/solution landing pages? I want to try it, because if someone is interested, it hand-holds them to learn more and I believe it helps with SEO too. But will it seem borderline sales-y? That is, in the readers' eyes, will we look inward-facing instead of showcasing customer wins?

Just a random appreciation post for getting to be part of this amazing community! It's almost funny that even after all these years, post-sale marketing hasn't gotten its due credit and a seat at the table in most companies. But I guess that's one of the reasons this community bonded so well and selflessly look out for each other. Each day, we see leaders in the space sharing new resources to lift us all up; folks at all levels being willing to ask questions and unlearn, relearn; cheering for each others' promotions and new jobs; even vendors and consultants offering more value than they ask for, and genuinely trying to understand the problems instead of jumping on a sales pitch. Being a team of one or two in most companies, with low/no budget and tons of untapped potential, it's natural to feel burnt out sometimes to the point of giving up on the cause. But people here give hope. And that's beautiful. I really believe that one day, post-sale programs rise up and become equals (watch out, demand gen!), and we all stay as close as we are today. ❤️ @Mary Green (Owner CMAweekly) we can't thank you enough for bringing this group together!

I also love @Audrey Zigmond 's suggestion of the impact or A-ha! Moment. I made this part of my questionnaire recently and am seeing some great responses.

Hi @Shannon Howard - I spend a good amount of time researching the customer and their journey before the interview. My goal is to sound as relatable as possible so they feel like talking to an extended member of their team. On gathering insights, I start with the CRM that Sales maintains - why did they come to us, who were the buying committee, competitors evaluated, etc. Then I approach the CSM. If it's a big account, there'll be QBR calls and Account plans with goals and business strategy. After reading these material and taking notes, I set up a 1:1 call with the CSM. Recently, I started asking the CSMs, "What are the 2-3 things that he/she is super proud of?" (Eg: streamlining processes, correcting something that their predecessors messed up) and "What are the landmines I should not go near?" (Eg: I interviewed a happy customer whose initial implementation with us was bad and the CSM turned the sentiment around. So if I bring implementation experience as a question, probably his/her mood will completely change and ruin the interview). I also inquire their repeated feature requests that are still unmet - so I can steer away from that. Does it help? Happy to chat 1:1 and deep-dive - i love this topic!

Hey everyone! I'm trying to wrap my head around ABM strategies for customer expansion (cross-sell). I came across a couple of LinkedIn posts but I'd appreciate any resources/videos that explain this. If you already have ABM as one of your expansion channel, I'd love to chat 1:1 :) PS: We use 6sense. Do we have CMA/ABM folks from 6sense in the community?

Hey everyone 👋 1. How do y'all drive new reviews on G2, Capterra, and the likes throughout the year? Any specific campaign that worked really well? 2. Other than NPS, what can be considered as good triggers/milestones to ask for reviews? 3. Are you consciously excluding customers who were i) reached out already but didn't respond and ii) already gave reviews Thanks a lot!
