I’m still looking. Last week all of my active leads went away for various reasons. It was pretty soul crushing so I took a couple days away from all job search work. I’ve been able to pick up freelance copy and design work, thankfully, but it’s just a get by. DM me if you want to chat about ideas or just scream f-bombs!

Great insights! Similar to @Emily Amos in my last role, after much deliberation and analysis, we ungated *everything*. This coincided with a more robust case study program, so we spent more time promoting those on social and in email campaigns. For attribution, we relied more on site link stats, downloads and Vimeo data.

I had an interview last week that would include formalizing the company's customer marketing and advocacy program. They have more than 800,000 customers (entrepreneurs to enterprise). Firm salary was $85k. I was invited to the second round, which was an analytical writing assignment. I declined. At that rate, I'd have to have consistent freelance work on top the full time job (and given the scope of what they were asking, it would have been way more than 40 hrs/week). Super disappointing.

@Bree Bunzel I was contacted again today from someone else at Harvey Nash. First text was to set up an interview with someone with Dropbox next Friday (for a 15 minute interview). Then a second contact requesting a prep call tomorrow (with another person supposedly from Harvey Nash). They said they would forward the link to the Dropbox meeting once they have it from the client. I’ll believe it when I see it. I appreciate you helping us figure this out!

My version only had the bottom two sections, word for word. The person I spoke with seems hyper focused on if I knew how to use slack. For a CMM role that seems like a pretty low priority requirement. We’ll see if she gets back to me.

Curious, has anyone had an interaction with the recruiting firm Harvey Nash? This morning I received a LinkedIn inquiry about a contract at Dropbox. The person called me, asked some odd questions (including the last 4 of my social so she could set up my contractor profile, which I did not give). I sent back a bunch of questions after looking online and seeing some sketchy reviews. But I was curious if anyone else has had interactions with this company (and/or warn people that this may be a scam). Any input is welcome!

Hi @Kristen Howard I used Deeto in my last CMM role. I love the software and the team behind it. I was facing a needle in a haystack challenge identifying and managing happy customers. Deeto made it super easy to build a program that delivered sales results and fostered better customer relations. From a customer support standpoint, the team at Deeto was always very responsive. They are doing an impressive job delivering on their roadmap with new features. I will be using them again in my next role (currently in a job search). DM me if you’d like to know more!
