With so many events going on throughout DF, it’s really about what’s in it for them. There’s definitely a lot of general marketing tactics like giveaways that you can do. It would be something they can instantly earn or a chance at winning by completing specific events with you (I.e. see a demo at your booth + meet with sales + attend X happy hour/dinner). For prospects, I’m sure your sales team are booking meetings so maybe the big draw for an intimate meal is making it the official time they can meet with your CRO or even your CEO. For customers, you could offer them a free expo pass if they attend a special customer-specific meetup that you are holding (I.e. you’re holding a customer dinner, appreciation event, or feedback meeting).

@Morgan Wright I don’t currently but I did at a previous company. Happy to share any of my experiences with you.

Hi @Rebecca Grossman. I don’t have anything formally written down, but we have a speaker request form built in Monday that we ask people to fill out for their event. The form asks for the event details, session title and abstract, if there is budget for travel+accommodations, requirements for the type of customer, and how many speakers are needed. Essentially, we put the ownership of all the event and session details on the person leading it (i.e. Events or PMM) and Customer Advocacy owns securing the customer + sending the gift. Of course, some events have speaker approval processes, so we work closely with the person who submitted the request throughout the process.

Congratulations @Rachel Ward! Would love to connect and see what’s missing or can be improved in the strategies I’ve launched so far.

If your review strategy is taken up by other review sites, I would check to see if your competitors are putting any effort into Capterra. Depending on what you find and how your current results compare to their, it may be worth incorporating it.

@Camille Shortridge I wouldn’t necessarily say it’ll draw more attention to it as reviews can be left on the listing whether you claim it or not. At the very least, you could claim an account if you feel the need to have your branding/product info best displayed. It could be good to check out some sites as each may be better destinations for certain audiences or better serve certain demand gen goals. Or maybe your competitors are really active on a specific site you aren’t.

Hi @Valeria Gomez. My company also pays for a G2 subscription for multiple listings. As others have already mentioned, the ability to have G2 run campaigns for you plus the analytics you get on the backend are all great. Their content plan is really dependent on if you have a good strategy to use it…otherwise you can still access the data from their quarterly reports. You just can’t cite things an unlicensed report or promote it. G2 is updating their pricing model starting February. I believe their website is already updated, but I would definitely connect with them as you do more research to make sure.
