@Jenni Adair my husband and I have been married 20 years, but together almost 22, so we are right behind you. Unfortunately, I didn't get married at a gorgeous place like this, oddly enough I didn't want to be the center of attention even among friends and family so we went to the court house and had 1 guest.

I agree with Alexie here, you can have it either way on the backend, but it should present to the customer as streamlined, logical, and simple. That said, I've done both. I find that when the customers get to build a good relationship with the team and their experience is always a priority, they don't mind. Communication needs to be clear about what to expect.

We did an executive sponsorship program at Demandbase, it was a lot of work. We had to be very descriptive on every action they should take, set up calls to check in, etc. It's a big lift (in my opinion).
BTW I saw a post by you on LinkedIn recently and I thought gosh I miss seeing her in the community π

Good question, @Zach Hawtof, this survey is specifically for advocacy, references, customer evidence or story platforms, but in the future I could do an expanded survey on the tech stack and then I would definitely include Community tools.
