Two of my former colleagues from VMware (Bammie Winners) started a very successful champions program. I could put you in touch if you like. 👋 Hello all! Kitty here! I'm happy to find this happy hive for customer marketers! 👋 ✏️ I'm a strategic storyteller in high tech—customer stories, thought leadership narratives, and some corporate/executive comms—now an independent, but formerly a customer storyteller/writer/editor and content wrangler at VMware and IBM, and a technical writer many moons ago at the former USWest/Qwest (which is now CenturyLink/Lumen). 🧠 I'm also skilled at, and teach (and coach), generative AI for writing, and was a member (and an alumna now—we are still together post-acquisition) of the VMware Marketing AI Council, winner of a MarCom GOLD Award for AI Innovation (2023). ⛰️ I live in Colorado, outside Boulder, and love the mountains, the blue skies, the snow, the sunshine, the birds, the lions, bears and foxes, and most of all, my Bernese Mountain Dog, Chewy! 🎨 My background is in the arts and humanities (MFA Drawing, MA History of Art) and that's where I learned to tell stories (mostly about Michelangelo and Van Gogh) and progressive journalism (LGBTQ publishing) which turned out to be great training for customer storytelling!
