something else that boosted my confidence and eased some financial anxiety was getting a barista job. (you may have seen the viral post on linkedin - that was me!) it was so much fun, i felt good to be working, i got a ton of free pastries, it gave me a lot of confidence to be interacting with people and remember how good i am at connecting with people. just a thought!

for my last interview, i also asked chatgpt what questions i would get asked based on the interviewers, the round, and the job description. and between that and teal i felt very well prepared

tealhq.com has an AI interview simulator that i found super helpful. it chooses questions based on the specific JD you're looking at and will rate you and give you tips for each answer.

ugh yes big time. first, i let myself feel sad for a little bit. pretending like the rejection isn't extremely hard is only going to make this works. talking to others in the same situation (similar to what you're doing now!) was also invaluable. people that aren't or haven't been in this brutal job market simply cannot understand.

once i've allowed myself to be upset, i talk to my cheerleaders for boosts of confidence - people that remind me of the work that i do and what i bring to a team.

then i prep! i do a lot of mock interviews. tealhq.com has an interview simulator that i found super helpful. i also ask chatgpt for questions. i know that i am a great interviewee and talking through my accomplishments gives me a huge boost of confidence. it's a great way to remind myself what i'm capable of.

last, i remind myself that i have a full life and identity outside of a job. everyone in my life would give me a 10/10 would recommend and sometimes that's enough.

hey all! i'm curious to hear your thoughts on transitioning from field marketing to customer marketing. to clarify, when i say field marketing i don't just mean events. i mean multichannel campaigns targeting key accounts. i'm curious to hear if others have made that transition or if you have any advice/thoughts on taking that path. thanks!
