Just finished up our 6th (in 3 years) CAB! We have been holding our last few CAB’s at our members headquarters - we now have a fun competition between the members on who will be the next “host” of the event! If you aren’t doing this - think about - it will definitely help with your budget also!!
love that idea - are most of your CAB members in the same geographic area? or are the members spread out nationally?
spread out! we have between 9-11 members joining and we have some on each of the coasts!
Are you covering travel and lodging costs for all members?
@Ryan Gutierrez, Community Agility Specialist - yes! we pay for travel and lodging - we also send out Uber cards for travel back/ forth to the airport
If comfortable what is your budget range with the program?
@Ryan Gutierrez, Community Agility Specialist - 40-42K
We fly everyone in the day before the meeting - have a fun excursion (we just did the RCA Studio tour in Nashville) + a welcome dinner. Meeting the next day until around 1 pm - end with lunch and then send them off on their way!
I shall be calling this the Braune CAB Experience moving forward. Thanks, I’ll share my gratitude when I pull mine off
LOL!! For sure let me know how it goes - or if you want to chat through anything - happy to jump on a call!!
We had a customer host one of the years, but used a venue the past couple years. I feel like a venue can be a more "elevated" experience (which is what we wanted since our cohort is VP+ level execs), but obviously it's much more pricey that way. I love the idea of having customers compete over hosting hah!
