Hi all! What are we doing to get customer content out of a CAB event? We're having our event in march onsite and would love to get some great content from our top customers. I want to be mindful of their time, so I was wondering what others have done (as this is my first) - thanks!

Set up a video studio in the hotel or an adjacent room. If budget is a concern, use a "tiny mic" format with just a lav mic and your cell phone camera. If there are local reporters, see if you can work with PR to invite customers to have interviews (NOT IN THE MEETING). Make ONE advocacy activity a REQUIREMENT for membership in your CAB. Invite/encourage your CAB members to take photos and to post on social throughout the meeting and tag your company. Create individual social graphics for each member "announcing" them as CAB members and invite members to post on social in advance of the meeting, or during, or after. Give them sample text to make it super easy. Let me know if you'd like to brainstorm some ideas. Make everything optional but "encouraged."

Thank you so much!

What @Jeanne Talbot said. You can make it fun like a photo booth with some cheeky accessories (hats, boas, etc.) and starter cue cards like "What I love most about [company] is..."
"If I didn't have [product], I'd..."
"If you're thinking about buying [product], I'd say..."
etc.

@Megan Ferenz you can also take the major themes that y'all speak about during the CAB meeting and turn it into a 'what leaders are saying' type of blog post. For us, we are doing this in a 'what leaders are concentrating on for this year' type of thing. This way it can be anonymous in case folks on the CAB aren't too keen on being outfront and public about their plans.

Oh @Daniel Palay I love this idea!! We do have great advocates in our CAB, but often they can’t share details so I think this will be perfect
