Does anyone have a good recommendation on how best to record/capture CAB conversations? We'll all be in the same room at the same time and it's a boardroom style setup. Should it be as easy as having a microphone setup in the middle, connected to a laptop recording on Zoom with our call recorder?
Seems simple enough, but any tips would be welcomed!
Ekkk this was always a tough one to nail down but what I've done before is:
• if there are no breakouts, then we record that with professional videographers OR we used to just record the audio on Zoom at another company
• If there are breakouts, then assign someone from your org who isn't presenting to be the dedicated "scribe" and capture feedback into different categories: challenges, feature requests, feedback - support, opportunities, follow up actions, open questions, etc
Last time I did this, I created a new tab in a google sheet and added the name of the attendees as a drop down category so whenever someone captured something they said, we can attribute who said the thing to properly follow up with them
Plaud! Just used this week, it's worth it.
We did with fancy microphones. Worked like a dream. Picked up all the voices and who they were. I’ll send you the link!
Thank you! This is the second time someone has recommended Plaud so I bought one yesterday!
@Leslie Barrett + @Ashley Ward - would love to hear more about - we are going to have microphones in the room also.
Me too! @Leslie Barrett I'm mostly curious about the benefit/differences between and Gong or another call recorder for this use case?
@Evan Jacobs I always included it as part of my intro/housekeeping spiel and slide
- Rename yourself to "Your Name | Company"
- Meetings are recorded and AI summary is on, but for internal note taking purposes only. (If this is an issue, private message me or the host...it was never an issue)
- We're here to learn (voiceover about how they can use the chat, raised hand feature, interrupt us, but be sure to participate and share their feedback)
