What are your favorite apps for transcribing, summarizing, outlining content ideas, proofreading/editing, and more, for video recording from Zoom, Google, Teams etc, such as:

  • work meetings 📝 summarize, action items, etc.
  • interviews with customers for content creation (social posts, customer case study video snippets, written case study) 🎥✍️

There are so many similar and overlapping features; I’d love to hear what you all think! 💬 Pricing would be good to consider too.

I’ve been getting a lot of Fanthom meeting notes and it looks amazing. Haven’t implemented it myself though but it includes everything you noted. For video, Riverside or Goldcast (if you happen to use them for webinars. And for written case study, have to say Peerbound ;)

Zoom AI companion can be really great IF you use it with Zoom Docs. But if you don’t have Zoom Docs, then Fathom has strong summaries.

Thank you ladies.

@Jennifer Lyons we use Rev to do all of our transcriptions. It works really well and has some great AI prompts that you can use to craft first drafts of stories, summaries, etc

I like Rev too, just wondering what may be new and potentially better.

Good ol' Rev. Especially good when there are heavy accents
