How do you automate collecting Customer Stories and content?

Karilla Dyer November 07, 2024 at 07:40 PM

@Colleen Gauthier You need Deeto! We use Deeto to manage our customer references program but each customer who joins can choose the option to add content to their profile. They answer a few simple questions and Deeto provides an AI-generated "user story" with stats and quotes. You can see an example here: https://share.deeto.ai/share/contribution/fd574e33-3003-43c0-9b58-2665990dc783

I spent no time writing this. I just invited the customer to join the program and create their profile. I added language to the T&Cs that gives us permission to repurpose this content in our marketing materials and they click-to-sign when registering.

+1 to Deeto. We are in the process of onboarding this tool right now at Dropbox to help scale the depth and breadth of our customer social proof. We went through a looooooong evaluation process — originally for a 1:1 reference program — and found that this tool will be able to support us in a number of other ways, including content and referrals

The nice thing with Deeto is that the customer still has full control over approving the content, and can rescind it at any point if needed

Big +1 to Deeto. We have been able to build a database of customer advocates and rapidly develop social proof from them that we use across digital properties. Plus they have a new campaigns feature now so we can run campaigns to a specific subset of customers (ie. based on vertical, product line, etc.) and generate additional assets for product launches, new web pages, etc.

Do any of you have much Deeto is? A range is ok :)

The last I heard is it was dancing around 20k, but it could depend on your company size, I'm not sure.

Ooooh thank you!!

@Mary Green (Owner CMAweekly) You're correct, I got it for a little under $20k for 40 licenses

That’s great thanks for sharing!

I use UserEvidence, and found it to be really powerful for this kind of thing. Especially when it comes to collecting ROI specifically.
