Has anybody ever tried a program to let platform users know when they hit product utilization milestones. For example, top 10% of users that log in, or 100th time using a feature. If so, did you tie the message to ROI or outcomes or notice any impact. For example upsell, becoming an advocate….

Yes, initiated program utilizing Pendo with product to celebrate milestones, garner feedback and if: positive drive to peer2peer review / negative seek deeper understanding. Unfortunately not there long enough to see metrics and tie back to retention/churn/revenue.

We did a campaign a few years ago that was used as a delighter for when a customer hit a million punches. It was a feel good campaign but didn’t yield a specific outcome.

I've previously used that product data to add personalization to newsletters (think Spotify Wrapped but wayyyy jankier 😆 ) and we definitely saw higher engagement but it was hard to tie to ROI directly. but love the idea of using it as a signal to invite to advocacy program!
