Happy New Year! My company is going through some restructuring, and as a customer marketer of 1, I'm looking to see what others are up to for this coming year as I work to put my plan together and ensure I am staying up on the current industry trends!!
I'm curious about your customer marketing activities or initiatives for 2025. What activities are you no longer doing in customer marketing, and what new things do you want to bring forward or try this year?

Great question, and sorry to hear about the restructuring!

New initiatives for 2025:
• VOC research to understand how we can better enable our customers
• Journey mapping to align lifecycle communications and activities
• VOC content library and enablement (using Airtable as database and probably going to build a ChatGPT model on top of it, like <@U07U20TAH6C> did)
• Getting all advocacy into Airtable (right now, a lot of logo rights, restrictions, etc. are only available in contracts 😩 )
Deprioritizing:
• Review campaigns (we didn't find this driving much meaningful impact and figured we can use our time and $$ elsewhere)
• Video stories (hard to get customers to commit to this)

Thanks Shannon!!
So far the restructuring seems positive 🤞 and will hopefully bring new resources to me!

Following this! @Shannon Howard, journey mapping is a big thing on my to do list for this year. Do you have any tips on how to approach this or any helpful resources to share?

@Shannon Howard contracts is such a big issue. Would love to learn how you're using Airtable. I was thinking about integrating Ironclad with ReferenceEdge when I was at Motive. That way contracts would come out of legal with publicity terms and flow right into advocacy platform.

@Jeanne Talbot I'll let you know what we figure out on that front!

@Kayleigh Bateman I'm going to pull from the notes from CustomerXCon from Katlin's session: https://docs.google.com/document/d/13eQlYFSHt7Jsy2HZaYVw1jsASuNG4HMomPEzRJVg7jE/edit?usp=sharing

<@U0806J8HHHR> yes. That’s all built into the contract and has to be redlined out.
