Is it just me, or are titles being downgraded too? I am seeing more and more specialist and coordinator titles on jobs that should be manager, sr manager, or even director level. What gives? Obviously devaluing the function and going cheap on salaries.

They want to spend as little as possible. It sucks! The great days of tech are over. 😞

A bit, sure. We’re still at the tail end of companies pulling back to get profitable. Once that’s over we will see an increase but it won’t ever go back to how it was.
