Yes, I’m still unemployed from last 4 months. And the issue is we do not have job opportunities here in India in customer advocacy. I have 14 years of experience working for US companies remotely, but I can’t find any US companies hiring outside US remote 😔

Hi Hena - I’m sorry to hear what you are going through. It probably doesn’t help, but those of us with many years’ experience are having a harder time of it because we tend to be more expensive and companies just aren’t placing value on experience these days. Some of the roles I’ve been looking at/applying for pay significantly less than I made previously. What has helped me most in terms of getting interviews is making two lists - people I’ve worked with previously or know well who are in executive level roles, and others I’ve worked with previously who are working in companies that are desirable to me. I’ve been reaching out to them one by one asking for advice or help. At the very least, they usually will have me look at open roles on their companies’ career sites and then they refer me. For the advice/help ask, I usually ask for a Zoom coffee, 30 mins tops. Maybe you are already doing this, but I recommend it if you aren’t. Hope this is helpful.

Also, I signed up for Never Search Alone - the jury is out for me on whether it will be helpful, but it is free so worth a shot. It is global, so I’m guessing you can sign up for it too.
