Yes! Depending on your product/services, Reddit is certainly something worth monitoring. It's very popular with developers and the like!

Agreed! From what I have found, there is always going to be discussions about a brand all over the web, especially Reddit. I think it depends on how frequent the mentions are and what types of conversations are surfacing there. I made a strategic choice not to actively monitor Reddit in a previous role because the conversations were limited and most of the information was resurfaced or double posted in industry Facebook groups.
