#reviews
Thread

Hi everyone! 👋
I’m traveling this week for a customer workshop and our Dallas roadshow, but wanted to keep the discussion going!
Peer reviews were a newer motion for our sales team, and with support from our CS partners, we’ve already brought in 50+ new reviews—and counting.
We decided to focus on G2 since our sales team consistently heard prospects reference it. But now that we’re seeing momentum, I want to make sure those reviews don’t just sit on G2.
Curious—how are you enabling your sales team to use peer reviews effectively? Are you embedding them in decks, call follow-ups, sales plays?
And are there any creative ways you're amplifying them outside the review platform itself?

I don't know too much about the connective tissue that G2 has, but do they have an embeddable widget to have them on your website @Cara Peterson?

Five star Fridays! So many other CMAers do this, but it's an easy way to leverage reviews into your larger marketing motions.
We also collect key reviews into Sales decks and build out a full landing page for our entire review presence (across platforms), easily enabling Sales to find what they need AND direct traffic to our website.
Email signatures is also a fun motion to play with!

@Daniel Palay maybe! We do not pay for G2, so it's pretty limited what we can do. I do want to do a "wall of love' similar to what Gong does

I could totally be wrong, but I think we technically can't even use the reviews to post on public assets like social 😞

@Alexie Glover ooo I'm curious - what is Five-Star Fridays?

@Madeline Coke it's not strictly a B2B tech trend (
) but some brands that do a great job of it are Trellix (Cache Walker has done this at multiple companies) and Talkdesk! You have to ensure you're following the platform guidelines for sharing content outside of the platform, but once you educate your Creative and Social teams on those guidelines, this motion is super simple and impactful!!
I added quotes from our G2 reviews to our Highspot library. This has made it easier for everyone, including our field teams, to find and use them in their opportunities.

We post our gartner reviews on social like @Alexie Glover is talking about, but it’s certainly an arduous process to get approvals

Working on customer proof for reviews this year, I drive them and do a horrible job at highlighting them.
So far I've
• Set up Zapier trigger to highlight all reviews
• Quarterly reviews snapshot
• Add our badges and spotlight reviews in GTM collateral
• Add them in PR campaigns
I do like that idea of Five Star Fridays on Social
