Not necessarily the best fit for this channel but seeing as it's related to jobs, thought I would post here as a place to start -- Is anyone on the job hunt using Teal or similar resume AI tooling? There seem to be a number of these Ai Resume builders that have cropped up as of late and curious if any of them are worth the $ and if anyone has had good results leveraging one (or more) or them. Thank you in advance!

Whatever you do don’t use chat GPT for cover letters. It’s just obviously rephrases the job spec and it’s very noticeable

Good pro tip, thanks @Evan Huck 🙏

I’ve seen multiple people posting about Teal, so I’d test it out. Right now I’m using a variety of resumes I’ve written to talk about my strengths. It’s not fun, but I feel confident that it is getting me noticed.

I've used Teal, and I did find it worth it to use the paid Teal+ version. Thankfully, it's not a subscription model - you can pay for 1 month at a time. From what I can tell, tailoring your resume for each job can help push it through whatever algorithm the company is using and have a higher likelihood of being seen by an actual person
