Hey all, I’m looking for another Community position. I could use your help: 1. Share why you like me as a community manager (so I can put it on my site/resume/linkedIn) 2. Share why you’d hire me if you could  3. Intro to anyone hiring for community/user groups/etc TY

  1. Mary is one of the most kind-hearted, empathetic, and yet no-nonsense community managers I've ever known. She goes to bat for her people and genuinely cares about the overall health of the community, but also recognizes that there's far more to the job than just showing up. She facilitates, iterates, connects, and advocates for the things that make communities great.
  2. I'd hire Mary if I could because running a community is a skill, and a practice that comes with so many more unknowns and unexpected hiccups than I can probably imagine. Mary has experienced -- and solved -- more of those challenges than most anyone I can think of.
