Not sure if it's the same role but I interviewed with them for a senior manager CM role early last year and they ghosted me after two rounds of interviews. Hopefully you have a better experience.

Yep! Same title as the position last summer. The recruiter never showed up for the interview then just ghosted

I remember seeing that or a similar job last year. Also, didn’t think the industry served or compensation would be attractive.

They do seem to show a pattern of ghosting.

I saw the role then I couldn’t find it on their website and I know the head of customer success and she couldn’t find it either

Thanks Mary for starting this thread. I recently applied with Toast and got a recruiter interview followed by a hiring manager screen.

I then was ghosted, after one follow up (I wasn't crazy about the job so I didn't chase it down). Yesterday I received an email from the recruiter after a month of no word that was "giving me a project."

It almost feels as though they sent this email to me by mistake. And the project is to create an entire annual strategy while also diving deep into one specific campaign for this new segment. #wild

Question, would you do it? Or would you pass?

Sounds pretty scammy to me.

It's interesting, I know a good friend who works at Toast and LOVES it and other ppl I know who work there sing the moon over it.

Yet this is the second time I have interviewed for a job with them and had a bad experience (the first was so bad I turned the job down).
