<@U04DNA7EZ40> almost, it definitely gets the May grey and June gloom though
You ainโt see gloom until you see NY today.
not here for this slander @Ari Hoffman ๐๐๐ it's perfect and i won't change my stance
Iโll say, it definitely used to be perfect. haha. Summers are way too hot and sticky for me. BUT January, Iโm not sure Iโd rather be anywhere else. Itโs my favorite month of the whole year there. Bluebird skies, low to mid 70's. Magnificent. Plus, waves galore at sunset cliffs
WAY TOO HOT?!? getttt ouuutta here!! it's like max 80 degrees lol
youโre out of your mind. I lived in Point Loma, so we even had the ocean breeze, it was mid 80's low 90's almost all of july and august the last year we were there. Plus with the new humidity, mosquitos (which I HATE). Itโs so bad, everyone is buying air conditioning units, but none of the homes have insulation because it never used to be needed, so everyone is getting black mold. My friend started a mold remediation company, that went so well, he then started a parts distribution plant for mold remediation companies, and is now a multi millionaire because business is so good.
Then you mix hot ass weather with no fresh water. WE jumped ship. My wife is 3rd generation point loman, her grandma lived there before the high school was even there. It was hard fro her to leave, but the climate change made it easier.
youโre not really out of your mind, Iโm kidding there. San DIego is lovely. Just too hot for us. Everyone has their own preferences. We still own property down there, just not where we want to live full time. BUT we love to visit ๐ (except May and June, hahaha)
we live in different san diegos lol
June Gloom! I left LA 10 years ago and hadn't thought about that term in years, @Ari Hoffman! As for San Diego, @Amanda Peacock, I'm with you. I remember that weather being so mild every time I visited, even in the summers! Weather aside though, San Diego is one of the friendliest places. Love the peeps there, especially at Petco Park. They are the nicest to opposing fans, and that goes a long way with me!
thatโs because there are more opposing fans in the stands than locals. Jk JK JK. I lived in the tower that overlooks Petco. I used to go to over 20 games a year. I really miss that part of downtown. I never drove, rode my bike everywhere, and had everything at my finger tips.
I would like to unsubscribe from @Ari Hoffman's san diego hate ๐๐๐
@Amanda Peacock how long have you lived there? I can tell youโre definitely from somewhere hotter and muggier ๐
LOLOL 7 years!
and im from florida so as hot and muggy as it gets ๐๐๐
