Hello everyone! I’m completely new to Slack! <@U04DNFVG04Q> persuaded me to join the ‘dark side’! We Cisconians are all about Webex! But I feel like we’re missing out big time not getting to hang with you all! So I’m here, trying to figure out how on earth Slack works!! :grin: :grin:
You’ll pick it up quickly. I’m glad you joined. We’ve been getting a lot of activity here. Any specific topics you are thinking about focusing on for next year? I’ll send you some content & resources.
Hi @Mary Green (Owner CMAweekly) - our priorities for next year (our fiscal H2) are as follows:
- Continue the journey of simplification across our multiple advocacy experiences (United under a Cisco Insider)
- Reimagining our digital customer advocacy experience on with a direct demand gen focus on moving customers through to connecting with references in real time
- Expanding our c-suite exec engagement strategy, with a focus on account based targeting
- Standardising measurement and KPI’s under the CMO dashboard

I love your focuses @Cristina Melluzzi I’m working on putting together a call for advanced customer marketers so they can work through these tougher challenges. I plan on holding the first one in January.
@Cristina Melluzzi back in the day when I was a rep I was trying to close a deal with Cisco WebEx/Collaboration and showed up with my Citrix GoToMeeting demo 🙂 Was a little awkward (did get the deal tho 🙂
