#open-share
Thread
Hey everyone! I'm currently planning our nurture campaigns for the upcoming company conference next month, and I could use some help. I'm specifically looking for recommendations and templates on post-event customer communications and upsell strategies. I plan to segment the programs based our customer attendees with upsell potential and customers who didn't attend but still have upsell potential. Where I could use some help is messaging and tactics. I want to create a mix of event content, product-focused highlights from the conference, and include a strong CTA for scheduling a demo, but would love any recommendations on how to best deploy these messages following the event. If anyone has any suggestions or templates to share, I would greatly appreciate it!
i think lots of factors determine best follow up ...
1. how your sales/cs team is set up to handle the post event motion? we try to avoid having a customer clicking a 'request a demo' button if they have a way to talk to their dedicated resources about it.
2. how is your agenda structured? having key sessions that indicate interest in upsells is KEY here. can you tag those in your event tool? if so, i basically have 'scored' sessions on their upsell factor and then if someone reached a certain score then certain emails/motions were triggered
Thank you so much @Amanda Peacock !
- Need to do some more digging but I think Sales will do some individualized follow-up and sequencing.
- We do have higher intent sessions planned, but we need to find a way to tag attendees. Any suggestions? And do you happen to have any email flow/routing diagrams or anything along those lines?
so I would tag the sessions themselves not attendees so then when they're marked as 'attended session' then they will add to an overall score if that makes sense? i dont have my old docs on this 😠but happy to chat through some recommendations with you!
@Amanda Peacock how are you confirming that they attended the session? my company hasn't instated any kind of pre-registration in the past but i would love to get this set-up ASAP for our event next month
is it an in person or virtual event?
