Can someone remind me how much a Forrester TEI report costs? (The one we did wasn't product-specific and was a refresh from 2019 research, so they discounted)

@Evan Huck might know

@Shannon Howard we've heard upper end of the range is $140-$160k. But have also heard some EOQ last minute deals done on limited versions of a TEI being done in the $90-$100k range

If you don't have that kind of budget and you want something a little more robust from a data/statistical significance-perspective, and more modern from a content/brand-perspective - let me know as you should def check out our
. Forrester is not Gartner, and from our research, their (declining) brand perception (ie pay to play) doesn't warrant the crazy premium they charge anymore. Obviously you need some independent 3rd-party to be the validation/auditor stamp so it's credible/believable, but assuming you solve for that, the $100k delta up to the Forrester-level brand name is questionable return on your investment.
And this is not to disparage the value of the TEI - these ROI studies are incredibly useful enterprise buyer-enablement content/validation pieces - which is increasingly more critical in this conservative buying environment w/tighter budgets, more scrutiny and diligence on decisions, larger buyer groups, etc -- there are just alternatives to the Forrester TEI now (other options besides us you can look at - Nucleus Research, ESG/Tech Target)

We did one and it was around $100k. Yes to references, but the value to the sales channel is very high and we definitely got our $ back in terms of attribution to sales. And yes, 4 months is FAST. We had one take a year.
