I expect some people start and give up... G2 reviews have so many questions!
Great point, so maybe we need to increase motivation?
We need reviews, but case studies so much more valuable. So I guess it's just all about widening the aperture on who you're asking for advocacy 🙂
Is there a way to “control” / “set” the questions asked which are standard by G2 vs additional ones? Just wondering if users have control over the questions to remove the “too many questions” point of friction that Lauren stated.
I haven’t heard anything like that @Joel Primack but I have taken the reviews before.
They are a lot.
I do also wonder if people think typing = more time consuming than being interviewed
There are so many distractions when you sit down to do it. Oh, the baby's crying. Oh, I smell lunch cooking. Oh, an email just came in.
When you've blocked out time for an interview or something, you're a little more committed .
@Joel Klettke I like your internal deadline idea. Humans = so crazy motivated by deadlines
We've found people are even more likely to take part in a case study if you lob an arbitrary deadline at them in the ask.
Studies definitely show that arbitrary deadlines have outsized power
Funny enough, we have to ability to add on two MORE questions with our contract type. But can't remove any of the "standard" Qs from G2.
