👋 Hi All! G2 Reviews: does anyone have a good process or strategy for G2 Reviews? I have not used them in years, but in my new gig, we are focusing on getting more reviews. Would love to hear tips, best practices etc! Thank you :)
In-app notifications have performed well for me. I've also done email campaigns with a target list of our NPS promoters. Depending on your contract, G2 may send emails on your behalf, but not if you "cherry-pick" like I did with promoters.
@Anissa Alvarez That’s so great to know! I think I would like to have a very targeted list.
In terms of incentives: did you give out gift cards or anything else?
Hi Valeria - I've run a few successful G2 email campaigns targeted at green health score customers by offering a limited edition t-shirt created specifically for G2 reviewers - that drove 60 reviews in 2 weeks. Happy to chat further if you'd like!
Wow I love that too @Hannah McKeen ! Could you share more details about the campaign? Thanks much
yep, we used gift cards as incentives as well as donations. But I really do love that Tshirt idea @Hannah McKeen
Hi! A few things I've done include:
• showcasing a QR code at in-person events (User Groups, conferences)
• maxing out the G2 incentive value
• offering swag (water bottles, socks, etc) with proof of the review submission (screenshot)
• internal competitions
@Heather Timney this is great! I will need to think
About the QR code at in person events. Do you find they submit the review there or after the event?
It's mixed! At big conferences people move quickly so I encourage them to scan it to bookmark for later. At user groups, many will fill it out to get an exclusive swag item
Good point- I find everyone is always in a rush at conferences 🙃
I had tables at events too. Tell people to do it when they have time, screenshot the completion page and come back to get a piece of merch. Or if you have the space, lay out some beanbags and ipads for them to do it in-person.
