Hi All, Iβm making a few changes so itβs easier to find announcements (like Friday calls, Events, new resources, sponsor info, courses, etc). This channel is now #announcements and the new #general is where you can post. You should still be able to comment on posts in this channel π
Please give me feedback or thoughts on this.
Since much of the content of this channel was general content, would it make sense to keep this channel as #general and make the newly created channel #annoucements? I wonder if this better preserves the history of #general?
It would have, but only the main #general channel initially in Slack was able to limit who could post, no other channel allowed that. So I had to make a new one π
