Happy Friday! Quick Question for the group: What are some gifts you like to give as a thank you for participating in a testimonial or case study?
Always good in the preamble of the interview to ask questions about what that person does for fun, so you can use that info to send a highly personalized gift later.
Ooh I like that. A testimonial I suppose I wouldn’t always give a big gift for that. For a case study, I’d default to a popular item for around $100-150. Sometimes it could be a nice bottle of wine.
In all reality though, I do try to match it to the customer, I look at their past conversations, social, etc to see what they are interested in.
Oddly enough we JUST finished a call and brought up asking ChatGPT for ideas.
Haha love ChatGPT @Mary Green (Owner CMAweekly). It is definitely a common helper for this. But I also recommend as @ mentioned adding a big of friendly colorful conversation prior to get some insights.
Also - If you have call recordings of this customer prior like with a sales person they might have had some chit-chat that you could check out to see if they mentioned any hobbies before to your company 🙂 If you are able to tie that across from a earlier conversation with your company it puts a nice bow on the company be structured and always thinking about the customer @Emma Hanevelt
