Gah. Sorry for all the questions, fam! I am clearly taking on some new programs this year. We're having a local customer join us at our RKO. Anyone have resources/suggestions of how to structure their session? Planning on it being a "fireside chat"-type deal. This customer recently signed a HUGE expansion deal, so excited to celebrate that, share their thought leadership, and also get people hype about this incredible customer advocate.

Hey Shannon - we had 2 customers do this at our RKO last year! Basically, we structured it as a fireside chat where they started off telling their side of the story, and then the AE who ran the deal kind of did a Q&A with them as well as the audience. hope that helps!

We did this last year, @Shannon Howard. I can share our prep doc a little later. Just running an errand right now. But yes, fireside chat is great

That would be great. Thank you, Sarah & Daniel!

same! I'll share our docs later today @Shannon Howard!

@Shannon Howard if you remind me over DM tomorrow I can send you what we did laat year!

Yay! Thank you all!

I'm doing the same right now for our CKO! Building out a half day program for them with our product team, and exec dinner, in addition to the fire side chat. Co-creating the fireside chat questions together with our CCO and the customer. Mutual value. May also give a non-profit donation as a surprise on site.

I am planning our customer session for SKO in February too! We are planning to do a customers panel with 3 customers where they will share more details about their use case and really focus on the persona (how do they evaluate new technology and new vendors to really understand their decision making process as this is very GTM oriented event) - I am planning to cover all their travel expenses plus host a cocktail hour with customers + our executives and their AEs right after the panel. Would love to hear / share more ideas!! 💡

Regarding the thank you, we often will provide a small consumable gift immediately after they leave the stage (Godiva chocolate has been a winner) and take photos for social media. I always get permission from the customer to post and tag them and their company. If they're traveling, they probably don't want to try to pack another swag item, so we'll ship them something bigger from our branded store afterwards.

@Laura Adams Godiva chocolate is a BRILLIANT idea. Adding to my list!

We host a quarterly session to spotlight our customers. Internal employees nominate a customer of theirs based on a recent success they’ve had. We review the nominations and select 3 customer speakers who fall under a similar theme. Our CCO hosts the session but the person who nominated the customer facilitates their portion of the conversation. Customer speakers have the ears of several internal attendees (everybody across the company is invited) and have the opportunity to ask questions directly to our executive team. We also close out with a Q&A/fireside chat conversation where the 3 customer speakers can connect and bounce ideas off each other. After the session, the speakers receive a personal thank you email from our CCO, followed by a bottle of champagne.

@Daniel Palay @Ciana Abdollahian @Amanda Peacock - would love to see what you all have cooked up if you're open to sending!
