Is there a way to gift customers who complete the GPI reviews, without somehow flagging the GPI system and invalidating the review?

You can't add tracking to the survey link, right?
You can't bring in a vendor who will privately take the customer info and send them a gift?

With other review sites, I've had programs where the customer sends in a screenshot showing that they have completed the review, and then we sent out the incentive. But it's a lot of manual work to administer and only works if you are inviting the customer to leave the review and sharing the process with them up front.

we've only ever incentivized for GPI using their own incentive process (which i think also sometimes helps with corporate compliance, since they aren't getting a gift from us in exchange for leaving a review -- the incentive comes from Gartner). Super interesting approach, lauren! I may steal that, although I don't really want to do all the manual work lol

I figured this was the process, neither sound elegant, but I understand why GPI does it this way. TY @Lauren Stefano and @Taylor Page

i loathe GPI, to be clear 😆

You can give in person gifts during customer conferences once the customer attendee completes a review.

I have done what Lauren outlined if you want to send a double incentive (one on your own and the one through the GPI portal.)

I've asked customers to send a screenshot then send Sendoso gift certificates, but agree very manual and seems kinda odd to customers. Otherwise just used the $25 incentives they provide through the site. Our customer conference is in 2 weeks and I'm going to hand out physical gift certificates on site after ppl complete a review.

Agreed, not all customers will send screenshots. Also are you guys running into international customers having issues with the Gartner incentive of the $25 giftcard? They aren't able to use if international.

From what Zealot has shown me, it's able to do exactly this

Agree with Liz. Follow the GPI guidelines or your reviews could be invalidated.

What we’ve done in the past is offer a $100 donation to one of three charities we support. We created a quick Google form for customers to fill out after they leave the review and ask them for their name and company name. It wasn’t perfect (we didn’t ask for verification) and actually worked quite well. It did provide a nice opportunity at the end of the year to email those customers and let them know how much was donated to charity thanks to their reviews! We have since just resorted to funding GPI gift cards.
