Good morning! Is anyone paying for Buyer Intent with G2? If so, I’d love to learn more about how/where you’re utilizing the data!

Hi Tiffany! For reviews: I’ve added an in-app pop up in product, added it to the product sign in page, and collected them at events as well. If you have a customer community you could post there as well.

Happy Friday! Does anyone have examples of sales slides they created to promote review results? Looking for examples highlighting quotes, grids and/or badges

+1 I looked at insided a year or so ago, and depending on how large of a community you were planning to have it got quite expensive!

Congrats! It’s so exciting to build from the ground up! I think the platform really depends on your goals for the community. I would say it’s helpful to identify your goals, then determine your must have features, then start looking at platforms to see if they align. I did this last year if you’d like to chat.

That range seems feasible, but will depend on how many members/your package

We doubled our goal for reviews. We sent some comms to attendees ahead of time, letting them know about the reviews, and also included a push in the event app (if you have one) As part of G2's package, they gave out swag which went over really well with that audience. G2 was very clear on what you needed and when. TrustRadius did a nice job too, just a smaller company so less formalized approach. I totally agree with @Amanda Peacock that having someone internal at your booth along with the vendor helps. I set up my own table at a user group before and collected reviews and community sign ups that way. it was easy enough and we had 20% of attendees do it, but you’ll need to think through bringing tech (a bunch of laptops/ipads) if you’re taking the free approach at a conference

I just helped one of my clients do this. They did G2 at 1 event and TR at another. We did charitable donations for each review on top of the $25 gift card. Did you have any specific questions about it? Happy to connect

I made dog swag at an old org (bandana with punny saying and frisbee) and also received some from a vendor before. i posted about both i loved them so much. obviously wouldnt work for all customers. @Ciana Abdollahian Patch reminded me of them

That’s actually cute though! The logo makes it fun 🙂

pickle ball is SO in right now. That’s fun @Alexie Glover definitely unique!

Not necessarily totally out there, but my faves have been a really nice blanket that i love. The logo was on the corner and didn’t take up the whole thing And a north face (or other high quality zip fleece)

Congratulations!!

I did one with an April showers bring May flowers (and Amazon gift cards) theme before that worked well. a big emphasis on the incentive, so need to think through that with your audience

I’ve heard the booths are pricey! I’ve done this at in-person events by just having some laptops set up and the product’s g2 page up in incognito windows. We offered Tiles (those tracking things for your keys or whatever) and 20% of customers at an event did the review. People were coming over asking how to get the prizes!

Good luck! In a previous role, they didn’t want to ask customers because they thought it would look like we didn’t know what we were doing, but it’s a HUGE help in building a program they actually want to be a part of

#announcements - March 24, 2023 at 08:06 PM

So many miss this step and I think it’s such an important one! I’m not sure if you program is in a platform or not, but some questions to include: which collaborating activities they’re most interested in (speaking, 1:1 ref, content, networking, etc.) Why they’d want to participate (ex: growing their brand, rewards) Preference on joining a platform vs outreach for opportunities How they’d like to be rewarded. Also helpful is how often they want to engage/go into your program to get a better sense of expectations. Lots more options, happy to chat!

If they don’t already have it-I’d start with a project plan with action item owners, dependencies, due dates, and get as many team members involved as they can

Woo!! Congrats! Those first few minutes (or hours) after sending something like that are the most stressful!

#welcome - March 21, 2023 at 12:38 PM

Great to see you here @Jon Ashley!!

+1 on the heads up email! Other criteria i’ve used are recently renewed, green health, community/advocacy program members, and if you’re overall customer base is happy, you could go broad and add to your sign-in page. It might also help to look at the breakdown of your scores. For example, if your score is being brought down by support responses, ask folks who provided a high Support CSAT

Congrats! Sounds like an awesome initiative
