For those of you who have abandoned the Challenge/Solution/Result case study format, would you be willing to share what the PDF version of your customer stories look like? Working on a bit of a rebrand with a client and want to share some best-in-class examples!

yes!! @Alexie Glover I just went through this exercise and put together a framework we now use

our business, like many others today, shifted to an outcomes-based approach. So we pivoted our customer success stories to match!

my pitch? no one is reading the whole story anyway - we have to optimize for the skim readers. that means on our website, the outcomes needs to be above the fold, in the opening section. doesn't mean "challenge" goes away - it's just folded into the story. let the outcomes be the "new hook"

curious for others feedback or approaches!

Love this! Thanks for sharing, Jane! This client has two story formats at the moment. One is more narrative, thought-leadership focused and the other is more traditional (challenge/solution/result). We're building a new PDF template for the narrative stories but would love to see them push as far as Gong has with your story transformation!!

Really interesting thread! @Jane Menyo Are you open to sharing a link from a Gong customer story that you feel does a great job demonstrating your new Outcome-Workflow-Value flow?

In our 2024 Customer Story Report, we asked survey respondents what types of stories they're telling. It's interesting to see that use case stories are currently the most popular. I'd love for folks to share links to one or two of their use case stories.
